McClaren Fired

Well the Mariners yet again show why they are the laughing stock of baseball this year. Instead of sending a message to the players by cutting one of them, they fire the person who probably has the least to do with their troubles. McClaren never got a fair chance to manage a team with any kind of offensive talent. The problem is an on field problem, not a managerial problem. Why don't we release Richie Sexson, Jose Vidro, or Kenji Johjima? They are three worst players for their respective positions in all of baseball in my opinion and keeping them on the team is pointless. Here's a newsflash, try and trade them for anything! A stick of bubblegum, some baseball cards, ANYTHING!

McClaren isnt all to blame but he still had to go. Everytime the Mariners booted the ball he just sat there and looked like he had just woke up from a long nap. It was the right move to fire him. Riggleman is much better.

This guy may have looked kind of funny, but he did not deserve to get fired. The GM Bill Bavasi, was the true cause of Mariners fall. I guess McClaren's only problem was allowing Sexson/Vidro/Wilkerson to start. It seems that the Mariners Organization finally pulled their heads out of their butts when they decided to get rid of Bavasi/Sexson.
